Stand Up Paddle Board Rentals @ Sundown

Yes, you've seen Laird riding one! Even Machado is a fanatic. It's easy to imagine yourself standing atop of a massive board, paddle in hand. Looking stoic and regal. Like some Hawaiian Royalty.  You can tell yourself your now a waterman! Buy one of these SUP and you'll not only be paddling into overhead bombs,  but it's going to motivate you to train, run underwater with stones, spearfish and all those other waterman activities. It's easy to get carried away when your daydreaming.  

The Stand Up Paddle boards are a lot of fun and are perfect for those small micro days when it's otherwise unridable.  But don't kid yourself into thinking your gonna be like Laird. The SUP are definitely not as easy as they look. I recommend trying it out in the bay first. Otherwise it's gonna be a lot of falling and getting up again and again and again. 

SUP is definitely a lot of fun and if you have the urge to give  it a try and wanna feel like Laird, come down to Sundown to rent out some SUPs. 

Rentals start at $75 for 24 hrs. or you can rent them for $150 for 3 days. 

One day Rental Credits can be used toward any new SUP Purchase.

No, really, these things are the best thing for your surf trips. They'll last through all the third world rough and tumble and deliver for those pre surf psyche sessions!

My Dad pulled this classic shot of Phil Edwards at Emilios (Now Sundown). Check out how formal everyone was, all dressed up in suits and ties. It's a shame none of those boards are hiding in the back of the shop.
